Please Note: We are at the Texas Life Annex for our lunch meetings in 2019.
In August we are trying something new. We will have four round table topics for all lunch attendees to enjoy. You will have 15 minutes to discuss each topic at a table with other local HR professionals as well as a leader to help guide the conversation.
Our topics will be:
1. Employee Mental Health lead by Teresa Schiller from Beard Kultgen Brophy Bostwick & Dickson, PLLC
2. Competitive PTO & Salary Benefits lead by Sam Cates from JRBT
3. Leadership Development lead by Stephanie Maultsby from McLennan Community College
4. Morale Boosting lead by Amie Kelly from Mary Kay
Lunch will be: Chicken Breast Monterey Topped with Monterey Jack Cheese, Barbecue Sauce, Bacon and Salsa, White Rice with Corn and Poblano Peppers, Ranch Beans and Dessert of the Day from Rio Brazos Cuisine.
If you signed up for a premium membership, then there is no payment due for this event. For all other members, the cost of the event is $15.00 and includes lunch. For guests of members, the cost of the event is $18.00 and includes lunch. For non-members and for guests of non-members, the cost of the event is $25.00 and includes lunch. Please register in advance as soon as possible. This greatly assists us in planning for the meal and setting up the room. Each person attending the meeting will need to pay the fee relating to their membership level regardless of whether they are eating.
Heart of Texas Chapter is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. This program is pending approval for 1 PDC for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. For more information about certification or recertification, please visit www.shrmcertification.org.
