UPDATED! The Changing Work Ecosystem: The Path to 2035, Presented by Dr. Christi Esquivel, Ph.D., Division Chair, Business Programs, McLennan Community College
Ecosystems are places where living and non-living things survive together. The changes being experienced currently in the workplace are only in the beginning stages. The year 2030 marks major demographic shifts that shape the world of work. As we move to 2035, the “new normal” may be clearer. Understanding the path ahead is important as human resource managers will be needed more than ever to support employers as they move through the new landscape. Population data and various reports will provide information on workplace changes and what to expect over the next ten years. The presentation will provide insight into worker expectations and discuss strategies to consider.
Objectives:
Describe work ecosystem changes over time.
Describe the role of worker experience in shaping values.
Lunch will be catered by Blanek's: meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, salad, cookies, tea.
